I’m an independent wedding photographer, adventure storyteller, and event photography specialist based in Christchurch, New Zealand. But that’s only part of the story.

For much of my life, I never saw myself as an artist. Yet here I am, chasing light, emotion, and the fleeting moments that make life unforgettable. Photography started as a way to preserve my time in the outdoors—a second life for my memories. Over time, a theme emerged: I’m drawn to the intersection of life and landscape. And as that focus shifted toward people, I found myself immersed in something even more profound—love.

Weddings, to my younger self, might have seemed an unlikely passion. But standing behind the camera on these days, I feel the same thrill, the same creative spark, as I do anywhere else. There’s an undeniable magic in capturing the raw, unfiltered joy of two people stepping into forever together. It’s a privilege to document those moments, to make them tangible, whether they live on a phone screen or in the aging pages of a wedding album, revisited for generations.

I suppose that makes me a bit of a romantic. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
